A mission of professional hearing service is to provide excellence in integrated auditory diagnostic and aural rehabilitation services utilizing the best in technology to maximize the communication of hearing impaired individuals.
As a diagnostic clinical and rehabilitative audiologist, Dr. Parente was on the staff of RI Hospital's Hearing and Speech Department for almost 18 years. At RI Hospital, she supervised several students in audiology during their clinical practicums from various University programs. During her 30 year career as an audiologist, she worked managing the audiology services of various large ENT practices in RI. She served as the staff Audiologist at the Sargent Rehabilitation Center in Warwick, Rhode Island working closely with their sponsored Self Help for The Hard of Hearing (SHHH) Chapter in Rhode Island whose state President later became their national organization President. Dr. Parente continued her career by managing her own private practice in audiology in Rhode Island on the East Side of Providence. Subsequently, Dr. Parente gained more diverse experience as a team audiologist for one of the leading manufacturers in the hearing aid industry. Trusted for providing thorough, professional and courteous care in audiology for over thirty years, Dr. Parente works closely with each patient to customize their hearing program to maximize each individual's hearing potential.

• May 2nd 2008 4th ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE)
• American Board of Audiology- Board Certified until 5/31/12
• CT Academy of Audiology
• Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology
